THE NOVEMBER 2022 ALTITUDE SCHOLARSHIPS LAUNCH

It's been another year of significant growth for us, culminating in the exciting launch of our national brand on 11 November in Noosa!

While around 90 sponsors and special guests were entertained by the hilarious MC, Sam Coward, the stars of the show at the Altitude Scholarships launch were our exemplary recipients, of Marjorie Stockton from Sunshine Beach State High School (SBSHS), Eva Timmermans from Caloundra State High School, and St Theresa Sunshine Beach's Zara, our fabulous vocal performer who is sponsored by Ikatan Spa's Katrina and Nicholas Thorpe.

InNoosa and Hello Sunshine's Deb Caruso and Carlie Wacker are proud sponsors of Eva and spoke passionately of why they have been such staunch supporters of our endeavours since we commenced.

SBSHS Principal Grant Willliams also provided critical insights on the significant and tangible impact the scholarships continue to have on the recipients that extend well beyond monetary assistance.

We are extremely grateful for the ongoing generosity and encouragement from our sponsors and all who support us.

THE 2022 NOOSA CHANCES
AUTUMN LUNCH

After a week of heavy rain, sunshine burst through the clouds to herald Noosa Chances' fundraising Autumn Lunch on Friday 27 May at Noosa Waterfront - much to the delight of 80 top supporters invited to attend.

With the borders finally open, guests from interstate flew in for the event, which was successful not only in raising around $50,000 but - more importantly - in gaining many new sponsored scholarships, our new local and national growth strategy.

With the magnificent Carlie Wacker from Hello Sunshine as MC, we heard from the highly talented all-rounder recipient Ockert Visser from Sunshine Beach State High School, and were enchanted by the beautiful performance of Zara.

Ockert is the proud recipient of sponsor Noosa Mayor Clare Stewart, while Zara was selected by renowned Ikatan Spa's Katrina and Nick Thorpe - all highly impressive local identities.

The superb cuisine of some of the state's best head chefs (all based in Noosa) was relished by guests, including Makepeace Island's Zeb Gilbert, Locale's Chris Hagan, Savour Project's Alex Moore and host, the inimitable Andrea Ravezzani. These wonderful chefs generously donated their time and many ingredients specifically sourced for their courses.

Exceptional Leeuwin Estate Art Series wines were enjoyed: a fitting match not only for the food but also perhaps reflective of the very high standard of quality of Noosa Chances' recipients and our proud supporters.

Our Race Day was held on 3 October 2021 at Corbould Park, Caloundra and was both a successful fundraiser and highly enjoyable event for our glamorous racegoers!

With Matt Golinski's superb cuisine, Pol Roger champagne, and plenty of exciting trackside action in the exclusive Champagne Garden enclave, this sold out day solidified its status as one of the region's premier social events!

NOOSA CHANCES GALA FUNDRAISING DINNER NOVEMBER 2020

Noosa Chances's Gala Fundraising Dinner was held at Noosa Waterfront Restaurant & Bar on Saturday, 21 November.

It was truly a magical night, with superb food and wine, enjoyed by 77 guests.

Noosa Chances is absolutely thrilled - despite our small guest numbers - we raised over $80,000 on the night. This is an outstanding result and will put us on target to fund 20 new scholarships in 2021!

Thank you all so much for your brilliant support!

2020 SCHOLARSHIP AFTERNOON TEA AT SUNSHINE BEACH STATE HIGH SCHOOL

Sunshine Beach State High School recently hosted an afternoon tea for Noosa Chances to mingle with our talented scholarship recipients that attend the school and their parents.

What a happy and memorable occasion it was! We are so proud to be associated with this fine group of people.

Thank you to Principal Grant Williams for organising this very special opportunity.

Our sincere thanks to photographer Dave Gleeson for his generous pro bono support at this afternoon tea: https://www.surfshots.com.au/

NOOSA CHANCES GALA DINNER LAUNCH
A HUGE SUCCESS

Held at Noosa Waterfront Restaurant and Bar on the 16th of November 2019, the launch dinner was a huge success and we surpassed even our very ambitious goal of $100k by raising $111k! What a result! We are so thankful to all of our wonderful local supporters, all the businesses who gave so generously, to Sandy Bolton and Tony Wellington for ensuring that despite having had an extremely challenging week with bushfires, they made sure they attended our event.

We look forward to seeing everyone there again next year - booked for 21 November 2020, lock it in now as these tickets were in very hot demand.
