HELPING TALENTED YOUNG PEOPLE ACHIEVE NEW HEIGHTS

Altitude Scholarships believes all young people deserve the chance to realise their potential. Through modest educational scholarships we can transform young lives and create far reaching opportunities for success.

Altitude Scholarships (Altitude) provides education scholarships of $1,500 p.a. for talented and driven but financially challenged young people across Australia. The funds may be used for specific education-related purposes, which includes laptops, textbooks and music lessons.

A scholarship lasts for the duration of a young person’s education: commencing in senior secondary school and their tertiary studies, until they are employed, subject to annual review.

Financial hardship is a filter for eligibility but is not the basis for Altitude’s unapologetically merit-based scholarship.

There are currently over 70 recipients supported in Newstead, Hellyer and Hobart in Tasmania, Sydney, Wagga Wagga, and Caloundra as well as in Noosa.

“Connectivity is vital for our children to identify, and reach their individual and community aspirations. Connectivity to opportunities, mentoring, resources and ongoing support, as well the energy and inspiration these bring. Altitude Scholarships is a welcomed element for that connectivity to become a reality for many, taking the chance out of realising one’s potential!”

How we are funded?

Altitude Scholarship is a not-for-profit run by volunteer professionals in the local area. We rely on donations from trusts, foundations, corporations and individuals to provide these life-changing scholarships to young people.

Even small donations have the power to make a big difference. All are gratefully accepted and any donations of $2 or more are fully tax deductible.
