Scholarships

Altitude Scholarships are awarded to talented and motivated young people across Australia

Sponsors select which geographical area or individual schools they wish to support and the number of students. We liaise directly with the relevant schools to inform them of the opportunity for their students. The school principal together with their leadership team will put together an application accordingly for the students who best meet our criteria for our review. 

We believe the schools are best placed to know which students are most worthy to be awarded our scholarship.

The decision on the successful recipients is subject to the ultimate approval of the Altitude Scholarship Board.

Scholarships may commence throughout the year and the $1,500 annual payment will continue for the duration of a recipient's secondary and tertiary education, subject to annual review. 

Scholarship funds are to be used solely for educational purposes.

    » music or other specialist educational tuition fees
    » musical instruments and associated expenses, including print music
    » online educational courses
    » stationary
    » school uniform
    » study desk
    » study desk lamp
    » study chair
    » design or art materials
    » school fees up to a maximum amount of $400 per year
    » educational excursions
    » home internet access

  • » mobile phones
    » school trips that are purely recreational (eg ski holiday)
    » food
    » accommodation
    » clothing unless part of the school uniform
